Manuscript, in a single hand, of a collection of decisions made in Quaker meetings in the years 1672-1755. The manuscript is arranged by topic, including "Books," wherein it is noted that "A Committee of ten Friends appointed to see that Books be carefully corrected that none be printed but by Friends Order," and "Negroes," wherein the writer records that in 1761, "This meeting taking into consideration the former advice of this meeting...against dealing in Negroes; and having...reason to apprehend that divers under our name are concerned in this unchristian Traffick, do recommend it Earnestly to the care of Friends everywhere, to discurage as much as in you lies, a practice so repugnant to our Christian profession." Other sections include Children, Meeting-Houses, Preachers, Prisoners, and Tombstones.
